1934 Ford Custom Cabriolet For Sale

For those who like the idea of Rodding without a lot of visible Hot Rod cues, it’s well worth giving this incredible 1934 Ford Custom Cabriolet a close examination. A professional build completed by Jon Kosmoski, founder of House of Kolor, it uses an all-steel body (including running boards and fenders), and this car was even displayed at the 2015 SEMA show in the House of Kolor booth. Though the near-OEM look of this vehicle is part of its appeal, it has been extensively yet tastefully modified throughout and has had very limited use since its completion almost a decade ago.

Beginning with a modified TCI frame, power here comes from a fuel-injected 350 CI RamJet GM crate engine that has been upgraded with a modern computer featuring NOS sensors in the exhaust. Detailing here includes the V8-logo valve covers, Vintage Air with the front runner belt system, an upgraded cooling system with electric fan and rich engine paint cues. This is backed up with a 700R4 overdrive transmission and Ford 9-inch differential. There is a front I-beam axle incorporating a Vega steering box and a 4–bar rear suspension layout, while the car’s Wilwood 4-wheel power disc brakes use rotors that were cryogenically treated to prevent warping.
